We have spoken to many of those involved in the provision of the service to help us identify what were the potential causes of the issues and what current measures and practices are in place.
As a result of this we have been informed that the service has had a recent review which has led to new system and procedures being rolled out. Therefore to allow time for this to be implemented we are now working with Sunderland Care and Support, the service provider, to collate further feedback from new customers of the service to see how it is working and are there any outstanding issues still to be addressed. During the engagement process we will also be asking customers who have experienced both the old and new system what improvements have been made, this will also be an area we look at with professionals using the service.
