Healthwatch Sunderland - how we can help you during the Coronavirus outbreak

We would like to update you on a few things happening at Healthwatch Sunderland at this very difficult time for us all.

At the moment we are all working at home and all face to face engagement will be temporarily postponed over the coming weeks and our offices are closed. However we have full access to our emails, website and social media.  Our landline phone is currently being diverted too so we are still able to take telephone calls but please bear with us if we are unable to answer your call immediately. We can also check remotely any messages you leave on our answerphone or email.  Therefore we will still be looking to support our local community and carry out other forms of engagement with residents.  We will do this by;

  • Sharing the latest public messages so people know what they need to do to keep themselves and others safe from coronavirus (COVID-19)
  • Continuing to listen to your feedback and experience on using health and care services.  This will be shared with local health and social care providers
  • Continuing to help people find the information they need about health or social care
  • Continue to share information and advice through our website and social media
