Kooth is a FREE online advice, support and counselling service available to all young people in Sunderland aged 10-18 years and to care experienced young people up to 25 years.
Kooth.com provides a safe, anonymous and non-stigmatised way for young people to receive advice and support online.
The service is staffed by qualified team members and is available until 10pm, 365 days per year. The experienced practitioners provide emotional support to young people with a wide range of issues such as: bullying, stress, anxiety, depression, family relationships and abuse, etc.
Kooth offers access to:
- 1:1 support
- peer to peer support
- moderated message forums
- online information and resources
During such unprecedented times, lots of young people are also seeking support around isolation, their future outlook, employment options and fear of COVID-19 to mention a few.
With no long waiting times and no minimum criteria, Kooth is a fantastic way for young people to get the help and support they need, when they need it, without having to wait for an appointment.
