A review of Points of You (PoY) and the new Friends and Family Test (FFT)

27/01/2020

From 1st April 2020 the Friends and Family Test question is changing nationally.

The mandatory change is being made to give service users, families and carers an opportunity to provide more detailed feedback about the care they and their loved ones have received from services. The question has been made simpler and more open to encourage broader feedback.

In Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust the FFT question is part of the Trustwide Points of You survey which has an extra 9 questions. Over the next few weeks they would like to invite staff, service users, family and carers to attend one of the below engagement sessions to give their views on the Points of You survey and the questions within it.

The purpose of these engagement sessions is to gather views on the survey as a whole, the questions that are within it, what is good about the survey and what could be improved.

Your feedback/input is very important as it will inform and shape the future of the PoY survey, the questions that are asked and the quality of information they receive back from responses.

If you or someone you know would like to attend one of the engagement sessions, please see the details for each session below.
