Sunderland Safeguarding Children Partnership (SSCP) have launched their updated Neglect Toolkit
On Monday 2nd December 2019, SSCP launched an updated SSCP Neglect Toolkit.
Neglect of children and young people can be one of the most complex areas for identification and intervention within child safeguarding. Neglect can have a devastating and long-term impact on children’s lives.
The Neglect Toolkit will assist the children's workforce with identification and assessment of children and young people who are at risk of or who are suffering from neglect. It is intended to allow professionals to help reflect on a child or young person's circumstances, to put into context any concerns you may have and to identify risks, strengths and protective factors in a child or young person's life.

To support the launch, multi-agency training is being offered commencing on Monday 09 December 2019. To register to attend the training please click here
