Urgent care services proposal decision making governing body meeting date is released


NHS Sunderland Clinical Commissioning Group is to make a decision on the proposed options on the Urgent Care consultation.

From 9 May until 2 September 2018, NHS Sunderland CCG engaged with over 2,500 people through surveys, public events, focus groups, emails and over the phone on the proposals for a new system of urgent care in Sunderland.

The CCG’s Governing Body will consider all findings and feedback gathered during the public consultation and feedback phases in order to make a decision on the proposal.

The Governing Body meeting will take place on:

Tuesday 29 January 2019, 1.45 – 4.15pm at Bede Tower, Burdon Road, Sunderland, SR2 7EA.

The CCG hold all formal governing body meetings in public, which allows members of the public to observe the discussions, considerations and decisions about how NHS services are planned and delivered to meet the needs of the local population.

Members of the public are welcome to attend, however please note this is not a public meeting.  The meeting will also be broadcast live via Facebook and YouTube and available after the meeting for those who are unable to attend on the day. Papers for the meeting will be available from week commencing 21 January. The final decision will be communicated to public, staff and stakeholders as soon as possible after the meeting.
