Views of people with learning disabilities needed for CQC Closed Cultures Review
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) are looking to make their inspection processes better. They want to find out and stop ‘closed cultures’. These are places that do not respect people and their human rights. Closed cultures can be in mental health care, social care support, in a hospital or in community-based homes.
To support the CQC in this process a survey has been co-produced by the Restraint Reduction Network and if you have experienced a closed culture the CQC want to hear from you!
The survey should take around 20 minutes to finish.
Here is a link to the plain English survey:
They have also produced an easy read editable survey. This shoud be returned to RRN@bild.org.uk
