Sunderland Annual Health Checkers
Self-advocates from Sunderland People First are working in partnership with local health services to make sure that Annual Health Checks are working well for people with a learning disability across Sunderland.
They have developed an accessible training pack called Becoming an Annual Health Checker for people to be able to provide feedback about their own Annual Health Check and to share:
- What is working well.
- What is not working.
- What could be improved.
Sunderland People First would like to invite people with a learning disability, family carers, support staff and allies to a Sunderland Annual Health Checkers meeting on:
19th January, 2 - 4pm
This meeting is all about learning and sharing together and talking to you about the support and training available to join their team of Annual Health Checkers.
