The PoCo study aims to capture the experiences of women and birthing parents in the North East and North Cumbria (NENC) after having a baby. It is the first study of its kind in the UK and it is anticipated that it will have a significant impact on improving care access and equity for women/birthing parents in our region.

They are inviting women and birthing parents who are 16 years or older, had a baby in the last 3 years, and live in the NENC region to share their postnatal contraceptive experiences in an online survey

Complete the survey

It is essential that this work reflects all the diversity in our region.  To help people get involved members of the study team are available help women/birthing parents complete the survey over the phone or in person, they can be reached on email
