Wound Care Hubs
From Monday, 6th January 2020, the wound care service in Sunderland who offer services such as removal of stitches, management of wounds and leg ulcer treatments, will move to the new Wound Care Hubs at these six locations across the city of Sunderland:
Southwick Health Centre
Riverview Health Centre
Silksworth Health Centre
Houghton Primary Care Centre
Washington Primary Care Centre
Springwell Health Centre
This service will be available Monday to Friday, 9am -5pm.
Your GP or Nurse will refer you to this service should you need it.
Other services such as blood tests, ECG, ear syringing and injections, will be available through your local GP.
