Organ Donation Week is an annual campaign held in September that aims to encourage people to join the organ donor register and to share their decision with their families. Right now across the UK, there are around 6,500 people in need of an organ transplant, including around 150 children and teenagers.

During Organ Donation Awareness Week we will continue to raise awareness of the important need for families to talk about organ donation to help save lives.

• When you register for a driving licence, register at a GP surgery, apply for a Boots Advantage Card, or register for a UK GHIC and or new UK EHIC.
