Working in partnership with the South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust we will be looking at several areas of hospital care.
During the months of August – October 2023 we have been visiting 6 TOPIC wards (explained in the video below). We listened of patients about their experiences on the wards and also spoke to their carers, family and friends about their experiences of supporting their loved one during their time on the wards.
Feedback will be shared with the relevant staff and departments from the Trust who will be using the findings to see what is working well and identifying those areas that require further improvements.
