Join the North East Ambulance Service Patient and Public Research Group
The North East Ambulance Service are inviting expressions of interest from individuals who would like to be part of a new Patient and Public Research Group supporting research across the region.
This group will play an important role in helping to shape and inform a range of research projects, ensuring that patient and public perspectives are embedded in their work from the outset. They are looking for people who have an understanding of the ambulance service. This does not mean you need to be a current or previous patient, just that you have an interest in, or awareness of, how ambulance services operate.
To begin with, they anticipate involving around five individuals. They are particularly keen to hear from people from a wide range of backgrounds, including different ages, genders, ethnicities, health experiences, and working backgrounds, to ensure diverse perspectives are represented.
Involvement will be relatively light-touch, approximately 3 hours per year and contributors will be paid £25 per hour for their time. There will also be opportunities to stay connected through research events, updates, and informal catch-ups throughout the year.
If you or someone you know may be interested, they would be delighted to hear from you. There is no formal interview process. To register your interest or find out further information, please email:
