Carry Naxalone. Naloxone is the emergency antidote for overdoses caused by heroin and other opiates or opioids (such as methadone, morphine and fentanyl).

If you have a smartphone, use BuddyUp app. The BuddyUp app is a support app designed for people who use drugs alone, the idea being if that person logs on the app and then does not log back on by a specific time (after using) a call centre will assume they have overdosed and call emergency services.
